Christmas 2009

The flurries of snow turned into a blizzard overnight, but here by this morning we saw the snow slowly melting as the temperature increased to just over freezing. In our corner of the world we often escape the worst of the weather, however elsewhere heavy snowfalls in the U.K. have caused travel chaos, forced schools to shut and cut power to homes. Will we have a white Christmas? we will have to see as Christmas Day is still a week away.
